Where it comes from...
Growing up in rural North Carolina, us young-ins would constantly be out exploring. We didn't come home till we got hungry, or it started getting dark. We would get in to almost everything. There were old abandoned houses that we would walk thru, dangerous, sure, but we didn't know better. Creeks to catch spring lizards and crawdads, electric fences to dare each other to touch. It was such an amazing childhood growing up with those freedoms! Those days seem so far gone now. The items below are some things i remember seeing, and were interesting to me. Now my kids help to create these models, and earn the money off each one. All items are hand painted or stained by me or the family.
Moonshine Still
It wasn't unusual to see some far backwoods moonshine stills while we were playing down in the river. This design is based off what i can remember, and a bit of research.

Rusted Water Tank
Flowers will surely add a bit of beauty to your railroad. However I would bring them inside at night, as squirrels seem to take off with my mini planters!

Chainsaw and Gas Can
Everyone needs a Chain Saw. I did not model the actual teeth, as they are too fragile to manufacture. The gas can represents one of the large 4 gallon ones
